NBC6 (WTVJ) and Telemundo 51 (WSCV), the NBCUniversal-owned duopoly in South Florida, are seeking a strong, bilingual journalist to help lead our duopoly’s morning newscasts. This person will oversee editorial and logistics decision-making in the overnight hours to ensure we are sharing duopoly resources. The right candidate will focus on winning breaking news, traffic and weather. We want someone who will encourage the team to produce engaging and compelling storytelling on multiple platforms.

NBC 6 and Telemundo 51 are looking for a Multiplatform Managing Editor to help craft and execute the strategic vision of our duopoly news operation in South Florida. We are looking for a strong, bilingual journalist who will coordinate the work of the desk, reporters and producers on breaking news and the big stories of the day in both English and Spanish. The role requires someone who will take a hands-on approach to daily and ongoing news coverage to ensure we are pursuing the most relevant angles on appropriate platforms and sharing duopoly resources.
