We are seeking a Staff Data Engineer looking to build the next generation of data pipelines and applications across the development of innovative new systems and solutions using a rapidly changing landscape of emerging technologies, including generative AI and large language models.

As the Senior Data Engineer for the Data & Analytics team, you will have the opportunity to build data pipelines to land, profile, and store multiple internal & external datasets, and build applications that surface this data to support our business partners’ strategic decision making for analytics solution in media industry. We work in a very agile environment, where product specifications are flexible and often change rapidly over time. We are seeking people who are comfortable with ambiguity and figuring out an execute.

Reviews internal and external business and product requirements for data operations and activity and suggests changes and upgrades to systems and storage to accommodate ongoing needs. Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to automate deployment, testing, and monitoring of applications. Implement and manage serverless solutions (e.g., AWS Lambda, EMR Serverless, Kafka, SNS, SQS, Athena etc.) as part of the application architecture.

The primary role of the Associate Post Engineer is to support Telemundo's Post-Production environment and work alongside Post Engineering teams throughout NBCUniversal. Key responsibilities encompass managing and addressing client requests, troubleshooting back-end services, and support new and existing workflows. A basic understanding of Avid and Adobe products, on-prem and cloud virtualization, and PCoIP technology is essential. This position requires you to be on-site and involves working nights and weekends on a rotational basis.
