In this role, you will support the repairs and maintenance of all on-lot vehicles which includes largely rentable production assets and a small fleet of golf carts. You will also be the primary liaison for an external vendor as needed.

The VFX Coordinator position will manage the day-to-day administrative functions for the EVP of Visual Effects, as well as interfacing with a variety of creative clients and high-level executives.

Responsible for processing all payroll employee requests pertaining to New Hires, Terminations, Vacations, and Housing support loans within the designated timeframe and ensure accuracy. Process new hires and terminations in the HR system and assist with onboarding/offboarding processes. Ensure that employees and their direct relatives’ information is shared with WTW and enroll them in the Major Insurance Plan. Understand and explain the flex benefits programs to new employees.

The Coordinator will report directly to the Vice President and work closely with the Sr. Director of the Production Talent & Partnerships team in Universal Talent Development & Inclusion (UTD&I) to: Oversee office administration duties. Manage calendars and scheduling for both VP and Sr. Director. Support the coordination and execution of a range of strategies, programs and partnerships designed to increase access to career opportunities in film with a focus on below-the-line and production positions.

Job Purpose: The primary function of the Business Affairs Coordinator is to efficiently support three (3) Business Affairs executives at Universal Studio Group in their day-to-day job responsibilities, while demonstrating an ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
